Hi Kang,

If your original url is http://www.webrewrite.com/product/index.php?prod_id=4567&cat_id=24&location=2 then through htaccess you can create url like http://www.webrewrite.com/product/index.php/4567/24/2. If you want to take their name is url then you need to create this format through PHP.

hello sir..
nice to read this post,
let’s say we have db like :
prod_id : 4567
cat_id : 24
location : 2

and additional field
prod_name : white shoes
cat_name : sport shoes
location_name : city

if origin url : http://www.webrewrite.com/product/index.php?prod_id=4567&cat_id=24&location=2
then how to rewrite it to be output: http://www.webrewrite.com/product/white-shoes/sport-shoes/city/

I use two urls with different file name and use in htaccess but one only working.

RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)$ realuser.php?user=$1

RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)$ demouser.php?user=$1

The first line only works but not the second like.

Can I use multi files with this method?

Hi, I think better to catch the redirect via e.g. php and “including” your template instead of redirect via http, because every http-request needs many many milliseconds. Also Google says: “we strongly encourage webmasters to minimize the number, and ideally eliminate redirects entirely” – https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/mobile
